Connect your iBeacon
This guide will help you set up your iBeacon and have your trips tracking automatically in no time.
Step 1
Get the App
If you haven't already, download the Driversnote App to your phone and create an account.
Step 2
Place the iBeacon in your vehicle
Remember to remove the plastic strip to activate the batteries and place it in the glove compartment.
Step 3
Connect the iBeacon
Open the Driversnote app, tap 'Settings', and then 'iBeacons'. Then follow the instructions on your phone to complete the setup.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I connect the iBeacon as a normal Bluetooth device?
You cannot pair the iBeacon with your phone through the phone's normal Bluetooth list. Instead, you have to connect it through the app.
Do I need to have my phone with me each time?
Yes, the iBeacon sends a signal to your phone to start tracking. Make sure to have Bluetooth on at all times.
How long do the batteries last?
They last approximately 4 years.
